Patient - Breast Lift

Before

This lady was unhappy with her loose, droopy breasts. She wore a D cup bra and did not want to be any bigger and was, in fact, happy to have them a little smaller. I suggested a breast lift (mastopexy).

After

She is shown 4 years after her breast lift. She has a lovely shape to her breasts. Her dark skin complexion made her a higher risk to have issues with her scars and she went through a period of several years in which her scars were thick, raised, and very dark. I managed this with silicone gel and patches, and patience. In time, her scars settled but did not fade fully. She is very happy with the result and does not desire any further work on her scars. This would be risky in any event due to her skin tone. I could not have obtained this nice of a result with any procedure using a purse-string around the areolae (donut mastopexy). Her bra size did not change much. I tell all mastopexy patients to expect to go down a little in their bra cup size.
