Before

This lady has beautiful eyes but the extra skin in the upper eyelids makes her look tired and older. She is a perfect candidate for a simple upper blepharoplasty to remove the extra skin.

After

She is shown 3 months after her surgery. The procedure takes about 30-40 minutes under IV sedation with local anesthesia. Pain and "down time" are minimal and stitches come out in 5-6 days. Most patients can look very presentable in less than a week. Of all the facial procedures I do, this one provides perhaps the most "bang for the buck" given the minor nature of the surgery and wonderful change it makes for the face. This is the most common cosmetic facial procedure in men.
