Before
This young lady had three pregnancies very close together and, as a result, experienced an extreme degree of loss of muscle tone and separation of her rectus ("six pack") muscles. This was not correctable with exercise and she needed extensive muscle tightening. She also had back pain from compensating for the loss of abdominal muscle support.
After
I performed an extensive abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) on her. This was more for muscle tightening and less for skin removal although she had a lot of loose skin as well. She is probably the most muscle tightening I have had to do in a cosmetic tummy tuck. She was interesting in that her belly button was so short that, once released from the skin it was buried in the sutures for the muscle tightening. I had to cut it totally free and re-attach it at the end of the surgery as a graft. I took beautifully and gave her back a normal looking belly button. She some small puckers at the ends of her incision that I touched up later for her. Her back pain improved as well.
