Before

At 50, this patient was a bit older than our usual 20-30 something patient desiring breast augmentation. Her bra size was a 34 A to a padded B cup. She had a slight asymmetry with the left breast being a bit smaller. She was augmented with Mentor round, smooth, moderate profile implants under the muscle through a ¾ inch incision under the breasts. Her fill volume is 310 cc.

Postoperatively, she is a 34 C cup. There is still a slight asymmetry but she looks more even. Both breasts are wonderfully soft and they show only minimal distortion when she contracts her chest muscles. Most minor assymetries are nicely improved with identical implants. It is very easy to over-correct when trying to adjust for minor volume differences.
