Before

This middle--aged lady desired more fullness to her breasts and wanted to look more "perky". She wanted to be better proportioned to her body but did not want to look "showy". Her bra size was a 34 C. Her breasts were visibly uneven and the left was more full than the right. Very few women have perfectly symmetrical breasts.

After

She is shown after a breast augmentation with Mentor smooth, round, moderate profile saline implants placed partially under the muscle. The left implant is 350 cc and is filled to 375 cc. The right implant is 375 cc and is filled to 425 cc. I try to avoid placing different size implants unless the difference in the natural breasts justify this, as this can cause asymmetries as well. In her case, I thought it was necessary. Her symmetry after surgery is much better. Her new bra size is a 34DDD cup from Victoria's Secret. She says she can also wear a 36D cup. She has normal feeling in both breasts. Her implants are soft. The right is slightly firmer but I think this is due to the large implant. This result has now been stable for over three years. She is very happy and returned to me for more surgery.
