Before

This very nice lady in her mid-60's was diagnosed with cancer of the left breast. Because of her extra skin and relatively good situation with respect to the cancer, I was able to place a permanent silicone gel implant with a volume of 650 cc immediately. This avoided the need to first place a tissue expander and have her go through several months of office visits to inflate this temporary device, combining two operations into one. A few months later, I reconstructed the nipple and areola, and did a lift on the right to give her symmetrical breasts. She presented some significant challenges but did very well. The new breast is soft and she fits into a bra very evenly. She wears only sports bras so cup size has not been determined but I would guess her to be a solid C to small D cup.Â
