Before
This young woman came in with JJ cup breasts. She had all the usual problems associated with such large breasts: back, neck, and shoulder pain; headaches in the back of her head; numbness and tingling down her arms. She tried physical therapy, chiropractic manipulation, over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medications, and different bras without relief. I recommended a breast reduction.
After
She is shown six months after a breast reduction in which I removed 945 grams from the left breast and 984 grams from the right. This is a total of about 4.25 lb of breast tissue. Her new bra size is a DD cup and all of her problems resolved completely. Nearly all patients get great relief from this surgery and a few get complete relief. Her scars are still a bit pink and this should fade away in a few more months.
