This patient lost 110 lb after undergoing bariatric surgery. She presented with massive loss of volume and sagging of her breasts and excess skin in the abdomen. She needed both volume and a lift of her breasts and I felt this should be done in 2 stages for safety. I could have combined either of these with an extended abdominoplasty (vertical and horizontal skin incisions to remove the maximum amount of loose skin) but she elected to do this in 3 stages. First, I did the breast lift (mastopexy). Second was the abdomnen. Finally, I placed breast implants a few months later.

She did beautifully with an outstanding result. Her implants are Mentor round, smooth, moderate profile saline implants with a volume of 375 cc. They are slightly overfilled to 400 cc. she is wearing a 34 D cup bra, or a DD from Victoria's Secret. Her breasts are very soft and she has retained most of the normal sensitivity in them despite the extensive surgery.
