Before

This patient came in because she wante a more youthful and less gaunt look to her face. She underwent a mini-facelift combined with fat grafting to the cheeks and lower eyelids. About 28 cc of fat was placed into each side. Her postoperative photos were taken 6 months after the surgery so this result should be stable and permanent. 

Mini-facelifts usually produce "mini" results unless combined with other procedures. When you see ads showing dramatic results with "mini" surgery look for a disclaimer in tiny print somewhere that other procedures were done at the same time. The combination of a mini-facelift with fat grafting works very nicely for a natural, refreshed look.

This photo was taken me8 years after her fat grafting and shows the nice long term result. She still looks much better than before the procedure.
