This gentleman has a ruddy complexion and enlarged visible blood vessels on his nose and chin. These can be caused by hormones, medications, or can be genetic. He was treated with 4 sessions using an IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) to try to coagulate the vessels. This requires no down time for healing and takes just a few minutes to do. These vessels do have a tendency to recur, since the underlying cause is not addressed, so periodic touch ups may be necessary.Â
